Lines of Lailan (Video)

I still remember the times when I was doodling away on a piece of scrap paper or tracing the outline of a comic book character as a kid. Now that my son has entered the world of art, I came to know how children have their own special way of befriending the many different lines, as if they are frolicking in a playground of scribbles.

Here are a few of Lailan's sketches that have allowed me to enter his little world even for a brief moment. I hope that this simple video would be of use to him later in his life, especially at times when he needs it the most. You can also watch it by clicking here.

Lila Marquez is a Filipino writer and artist. Also known as Armineonila M., she has written for various newspapers, magazines and journals. Her articles, poems, short stories, digital paintings and comic strips have also been published in several publications in the Philippines, Kuwait and abroad.
