Rescued

RESCUED
11.25 x 8.75 inches
Digital Painting

Rescued is inspired by two beautiful beings, a baby bull and a pregnant cow, residing at Shelter Ugolyok in Ukraine. Rescuing animals is close to my heart, being directly involved in rescue operations and organizations in the Philippines and Kuwait since the early 2000s, and the main reason I went vegan. Hence, this piece is special to me as it reminds me that it takes one concerned individual to change an animal's life forever. Moreover, this piece also features poems on animal emancipation etched in the background.

This piece was my submission to the Art of Compassion Project's 2023 Calendar for selection.
